Richmond Park engagement shoot – Pre-wedding Richmond Park

Calvin and Sharan hired me for their wedding at Riverside Venue in August and also wanted to have an engagement shoot (AKA pre-wedding shoot) at Richmond Park.

Apart from the joy of the photo session itself, engagement photos can be used for many things. They can be exhibited during your wedding, used for save the date / invitation cards, to get used to wedding photography or just to have a stunning record of this period of your life. I always recommend having an engagement session for my clients.

One of the good aspects of a pre-wedding shoot is that it can be postponed… and this happened for this one. The weather here in London sometimes can be quite miserable and we can work around it by postponing our session to another day. On the week that Calvin and Sharan were supposed to have their photo shoot, the weather was terrible and we rescheduled it to the next one which wasn’t raining.

On the day, we met around Pembroke Lodge, in Richmond Park, and got some shots nearby. Then we moved to another location, with a nice pond and got some shots there. The couple changed outfits and we headed to a third location with some logs and trees around.

Calvin and Sharan were really a joy to work with. They are both awesome people with a great sense of humour. We had such a good time during this pre-wedding photo session. Thanks guys!!
